Lauren Alger

Lauren Alger, PE serves as the National Director of Sustainable Design at STV, having held the position since April 2022. Prior to this role, Lauren was a Sustainability Manager at MLJ Contracting Corp, where responsibilities included managing construction for new structural steel bridges and serving as a project spokesperson to various NYC and railroad agencies. At Balfour Beatty US, Lauren progressed from Assistant Project Manager to roles as Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer, overseeing significant construction efforts and tracking LEED sustainability targets. Earlier internships at Virginia Paving Company, Skanska USA, and The Lane Construction Corporation provided foundational experience in civil engineering and project management. Lauren holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, graduating Cum Laude from George Mason University in 2015.
