Brent Woodhouse

Brent Woodhouse is a Senior Data Scientist with significant experience in the field. Brent joined StyleSeat in 2022 as a Senior Data Scientist. Prior to that, they worked at Areté Associates from 2019 to 2022 in the same role.

Before transitioning into the field of data science, Brent pursued their academic career at UCLA from 2013 to 2018. Brent completed their Ph.D. in Mathematics, with a research focus on partial differential equations related to interface motions in physical applications. During their time at UCLA, they also gained teaching experience as an Instructor for Calculus of Several Variables and as a Teaching Assistant for multiple mathematics and programming courses. Additionally, Brent was involved in preparing junior high and high school students for math contests as a UCLA Math Circle Instructor.

Brent Woodhouse's education history began in 2009 at Purdue University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science with Honors. Brent completed this program in 2013. Following that, they enrolled at UCLA in 2013 and completed their studies in 2018, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Applied Mathematics.
