Tae-Gon Cha

Tae-Gon Cha is a highly experienced scientist with a strong background in molecular biology and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Stylus Medicine since April 2023, Tae-Gon has previously held senior scientist positions at PureTech Health and served as a Scientist at Stellate Biotherapeutics. Key achievements include the development of in vitro transcription methods for large mRNA and the automation of mRNA library construction. Tae-Gon’s expertise also encompasses genetic engineering using CRISPR technology and high-throughput production of bacteriophages. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Purdue University, along with master's and bachelor's degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Seoul National University.
