Alex Tarrand has an extensive work experience in the technology and gaming industry. Alex is currently the COO & Co-Founder of STYNGR since August 2020. Prior to that, they worked at VY Esports as a Strategic Advisor from March 2022 and as the Chief Product Officer from September 2020 to March 2022. Alex was also the Chief Product Officer at DreamTeam from July 2019 to September 2020. Before that, Alex served as the Vice President of Growth & Marketing at Jump Ramp from June 2017 to June 2019. Alex co-founded and was the CEO of TRI MATCH LLC. from September 2013 to June 2019. Alex's experience also includes roles at MobilityWare as the Head of Product Management & Live Operations from January 2015 to June 2017, at the National Football League as a Mobile Project Lead from January 2014 to January 2015, at Disney Interactive Studios as a Sr. Product Manager from January 2013 to January 2014, at Microsoft as a Sr. Product Manager for Xbox Mobile/Windows 8 from February 2012 to January 2013, and at Electronic Arts (EA) as the Global F2P Operations Manager, Mobile Games from February 2011 to February 2012.

Alex Tarrand began their education by earning a BA from The University of New Mexico from 2001 to 2004. During this time, they double majored in Political Science and Criminology. Alex then pursued further education at Swansea University from 2003 to 2004, where they obtained a UNM Global Extension in European Union: Economics & IR. Alex then attended Pepperdine Graziadio Business School from 2010 to 2011, where they completed an MBA in Global Business/Global Finance. In the same year, they also participated in the Pepperdine MBA Global Extension program at Fudan University, focusing on IP Law & Economics.

In addition to their formal education, Alex obtained certifications in Contract Law Extension from Harvard University in May 2020, and a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance in November 2013.
