Laura Santamaria

Laura Santamaria is a distinguished academic and industry leader specializing in design innovation and communication. Currently serving as the Research Lead at the Royal College of Art's School of Communication and as a Senior Tutor for MRes Communication Design, Santamaria has a robust portfolio that includes founding Sublime Magazine, where leadership as Editor in Chief has been key since 2005. Previous positions include Deputy Head of Research and Innovation at Anglia Ruskin University and Deputy Associate Dean for Enterprise at Loughborough University London, focusing on knowledge exchange and research impact. With extensive teaching experience in design thinking and sustainable innovation, Laura Santamaria holds a PhD in Sustainable Design Innovation from Loughborough University and an MA in Design and Visual Communication from Universidad Nacional de La Plata.
