Steven Kehrli has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Steven started their career at Microsoft in 1996 as a Software Development Engineer in Test, where they were responsible for creating tests for the Fax product and developing the Fax modem certification test. Steven also worked on the service management tools, designing and developing tools for datacenter migration and upgrade. In 2006, they integrated Dynamic Cache Manager into Visual Studio Team Suite projects, allowing load and performance testing of stateful services.

After their time at Microsoft, Steven joined INRIX in 2011 as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test. Steven designed and developed core components of the Analytics platform and built the Analytics infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. Steven also developed tests to validate map and routing projects, doubling the number of map updates per year.

In 2018, Steven joined Unity as a Senior Software Engineer and later became a Software Engineering Manager. Steven played a technical lead role in the development of Unity Simulation, a managed service for running real-time 3D simulations. Steven also researched and developed a licensing proposal and roadmap for Unity Simulation Pro. As a Software Engineering Manager, they oversaw the general availability release of Unity Simulation and led a team of 8 full-time employees and 4 interns.

Most recently, Steven joined Submittable in 2023 as a Staff Software Engineer.

Steven Kehrli obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, where they studied from 1990 to 1996.
