Tagh Sira's work experience includes the following roles:

- Senior Software Engineering Manager at Submittable since April 2023 (ongoing).

- Senior Engineering Manager at LaunchDarkly from November 2021 to April 2023.

- Software Engineering Manager at Unity Technologies from August 2017 to November 2021. In this role, Tagh served as the Direct Manager and Technical Lead for a team of engineers working on Unity Engine Package Development and Cloud Services. They also led the development of Scala Services that are core Unity Runtime APIs.

- Lead Data Analyst - Infrastructure and Operations at Bayer from August 2016 to August 2017. Tagh was responsible for managing both co-located and remote teams, focusing on building software and hardware systems to support the row crops biotech pipeline.

- Research Associate - Hawaii Software Design and Development Lead at Bayer from October 2013 to August 2016.

- Software Design Engineer in Test at Microsoft from June 2013 to October 2013.

- Instructor at Canadian Forces - Cadet Instructors Cadre (CIC) from September 2005 to December 2012. Tagh was responsible for overseeing and training officers, non-commissioned members, and cadets. They also assisted in the design and development of flight simulation hardware and software.

- Degree Navigator and Kuali Technical Support at The University of British Columbia from September 2009 to May 2010. This role involved database management, creating video tutorials, website development, and creating an electronic conference workshop registration system.

- Student Researcher for the Directed Studies Thesis Project from February 2008 to May 2009. The project focused on identifying microbial communities and their biogeochemical interactions in methane-rich seafloor sediments.

- Research Assistant at Li Lab - University of British Columbia from September 2007 to April 2008.

Tagh Sira completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Microbiology & Immunology, and Computer Science from The University of British Columbia from 2006 to 2010. In 2011, they pursued Officer Professional Military Education (OPME) at the Royal Military College of Canada/Collège militaire royal du Canada. Additionally, Tagh Sira obtained several certifications including G Suite Administrator Fundamentals from Coursera in August 2018, Situational Leadership II from The Ken Blanchard Companies in April 2012, Six Sigma - Yellow Belt in March 2012, Unity Certified Developer from Acclaim Badging in August 2018, and Occupational First Aid Level 3 from St. Johns Ambulance in May 2006.
