Zachary Falkner

Zachary Falkner has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Field Systems Technician at H&R Block, providing direct technical support to multiple offices across the state of Montana. During this time, they also interned at Forward Montana. From 2012 to 2014, they held various roles at the University of Montana, including Web Programmer, Climbing Instructor, Graduate Teaching Assistant, Graduate Student Researcher, and Computer Science Tutor. From 2014 to 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Submittable. During this time, they also worked as a Full Stack Web Application Developer, developing backends primarily in PHP with the Laravel and Codeigniter frameworks and a variety of JavaScript frameworks and libraries for frontends including jQuery, Angular, and React.

Zachary Falkner began their educational journey in 2005 when they attended Idaho State University for Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Zachary then obtained their High School Diploma from Chemeketa Community College in 2009. After this, they went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Montana, which they completed in 2016. Lastly, they earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Montana in 2018.
