Michael Atlas serves as General Counsel and Senior Vice President at Subterra Renewables, providing strategic legal and business guidance as part of the executive team since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Greenfield Global, where Michael advanced from Legal Counsel to Associate General Counsel and Director of Legal Services, overseeing a legal team that ensured compliance and contributed to commercial strategies across Canada, the US, and the EU. Michael's legal career began at Dickinson Wright LLP as a Lawyer specializing in mergers and acquisitions, renewable energy, and corporate transactions, following articling at Bennett Jones LLP. Michael holds a J.D. from Queen's University and has completed legal studies at The University of Hong Kong, alongside a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University.
