Capt. Eslam Hamdy Gad

Capt. Eslam Hamdy Gad is a seasoned marine professional currently serving as a marine pilot at the Suez Canal Authority since June 2022. With extensive experience in the maritime industry, Eslam's previous roles include Master Mariner at Hapag-Lloyd AG from January 2019 to January 2021 and Chief Mate, followed by Navigation Officer at United Arab Shipping Company (S.A.G.) from 2006 to January 2019, specializing in container ships. Earlier in the career, Eslam held the position of Navigation Officer 3rd Mate at EL SALAM MARITIME TRANSPORT between 2004 and 2005, working on a passenger Roro ship. Eslam is also pursuing further education at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, contributing to a solid foundation in maritime knowledge and expertise.
