Doug Myers

EVP, Chief Information Officer at Suffolk Construction

Doug Myers is the EVP and Chief Information Officer at Suffolk Construction. Doug has held this position since June of 2017. Prior to that, Myers was the Vice President and Pepco Holdings CIO at Exelon, where they were responsible for leading the technology integration of Pepco Holdings into Exelon.

Myers has over fifteen years of experience in the IT industry. Doug began their career at Pepco Holdings, Inc. in 2004, where they eventually became Vice President & Chief Information Officer in 2010. During their time at Pepco, Myers successfully led the replacement of the company's legacy billing systems with SAP CR&B. Doug also introduced mobile technologies to the company and delivered industry-first, customer-facing mobile applications. In addition, Myers served as the cybersecurity leader for Pepco, representing the company in various government and public forums.

Under Myers's leadership, the IT group at Suffolk Construction has undergone a cultural transformation, resulting in increased employee engagement and improved service levels. Myers has also established enhanced emergency preparedness / disaster recovery capabilities and sustainable reductions in annual spend.

Doug Myers has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics from William & Mary. Doug also has certification from Coursera in Big Data Modeling and Management Systems and Introduction to Big Data.

Doug Myers reports to John Fish, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Tony Rango - President, West Region, Josh Christensen - Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of Florida's Gulf Coast, and Mark Penny - General Manager, South Central Region.
