Joshua Avila

Joshua Avila, MPA, currently serves as Chief of Staff and Program Manager for Mission Critical at Suffolk Construction since July 2023. Joshua also holds a position as Lab Faculty at College Unbound and previously worked as Director of Executive Administration at the United Way of Rhode Island. Prior experience includes roles as Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Confidential Assistant to the Chief of Operations for the City of Providence, as well as Interim Executive Director of the Providence Human Relations Commission. Joshua has experience as Development Coordinator at the Community College of Rhode Island and as Retail Store Manager at Olympia Sports. Early career roles included positions at CVS Health and Vector Marketing. Joshua holds a Master of Public Administration from Roger Williams University and a Certificate of Completion from Harvard Kennedy School, along with a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies and Political Science from Roger Williams University.
