Joe Cheeran

Joe Cheeran has over 14 years of experience in the field of Supply Chain & Operations, Analytics, IT Projects, Governance, Planning, Forecasting and Commodity Buying. Joe started their career in 2006 as an Intern at Mahindra & Mahindra, where they were involved in various assignments of production improvement and fatigue reduction. In 2007, they joined Fractal Analytics as an Analyst and undertook a challenging overseas assignment in USA which included client management, turning around a FORTUNE 1000 Company by using price elasticity models. In 2010, they were a Summer Intern at Johnson & Johnson, where they were part of the Ethicon team and was tasked with developing a marketing strategy for one of their products. In 2011, they joined Glenmark Generics Ltd. as Manager - Supply Planning, where they managed a portfolio of Tablets, Capsules, Gels, Creams etc. across 2 Factories in Indore and Baddi. In 2014, they joined Marico Limited as Lead - Supply Chain Control Tower+ Analytics + IT Projects + Governance + Planning, where they led the digital transformation for Supply Chain leveraging all skills of operations, supply chain and analytics. Joe built a Enterprise Supply Chain Control Tower from scratch for Marico which was part of the CEO's Digital Transformation Agenda. In 2022, they joined SUGAR Cosmetics as AVP - Supply Chain & Operations.

Joe Cheeran attended the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a PGDM in Operations, Finance, and Marketing. Prior to that, they attended Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a B.E. (Bachelors in Engineering, similar to Btech) in Production.
