Shiman Guo

Shiman Guo has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and research. They began their career as a Research Assistant at Brandeis University from October 2013 to May 2015. They then joined Machine Zone, Inc. as an NLP Software Engineer from July 2015 to October 2017. In 2018, Shiman worked as an NLP Software Engineer for Alibaba Group from January to March, and as a Research Engineer for Liulishuo from May 2018 to May 2019. From 2020, Shiman worked at Microsoft as an SDE2. They also have experience as a Founding Engineer at Suger (YC W23) from February 2023.

Shiman Guo completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Korean Studies at Shandong University from 2009 to 2013. Following that, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Computational Linguistics at Brandeis University.
