Haohai S.

Haohai S. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles, industries, and areas of expertise. They are currently a Distinguished Engineer at Motorola Solutions, a position they started in July 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Head of Audio Development at Ava Security starting in September 2018. They also have experience as a Co-Founder of Sugr Sense from April 2014 onwards. In addition, Haohai S. has experience as the Founder of Sunconsult, a position they held from September 2015 until March 2022.

Before joining Motorola Solutions, Haohai S. worked at Cisco in various roles. They served as a Senior Technical Leader/Senior Manager from February 2016 to September 2018 and as a Senior Audio Engineer from 2011 to 2015. They also held the positions of Head of Audio Development/Principal Engineer at Acano (now part of Cisco) from February 2015 to January 2016.

Haohai S.'s earlier work experience includes a role as an Industrial PhD Research Fellow at TANDBERG from 2008 to 2011. They have also worked as a Visiting Scientist at Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nürnberg in 2010 and as a Research Scientist at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) also in 2010.

Haohai S. has an education history that includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Telecommunications from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), which was obtained between 2008 and 2011. During this time, they also attended FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg as a Gastwissenschaftler, focusing on Multimedia Communications and Signal Processing from 2010 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Haohai S. has obtained several certifications. They achieved the Cisco Machine Learning Specialist certification from Cisco in August 2018. They also obtained certifications in Data Scientist, Python Programmer, and Data Analyst from DataCamp in July and June 2018. Prior to that, they obtained the Cisco Security Ninja Green Belt certification in August 2014 and the Cisco Security Ninja White Belt certification in September 2013.
