Tarika Villagran has held a variety of roles in the hospitality and tech industries over the past decade. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as an Assistant Front Office Manager at Hyatt Regency Columbus. Tarika then moved to Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, where they worked as a Sales Executive - Corporate from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. as a Sales Executive - Groups & MICE (Pre-Opening Team), where they specialized in corporate groups from Abu Dhabi and Dubai as well as International groups from the EMEA region. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Sales Manager - Corporate at Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney, where they managed and developed over 100 accounts and increased file load of qualified accounts by 8%. In 2016, they joined Mindbody as an APAC Regional Manager of Account Development, where they led a team of 6 Sales Consultants and 1 Coordinator. Tarika also upskilled the team on revenue analysis, value selling & business consulting to increase product adoption and reduce churn. In 2021, they became an Investor Relations Manager at Folklore Ventures and a Startmate Fellow - Spring21 at Startmate. Tarika also joined RagTagd as Head of Strategy & Growth, where they were responsible for overseeing the company’s operational success through the implementation of process and initiatives to drive profit, efficiency, adoption and retention. In 2023, they became the Head of Customer Success at Suite Studios.
Tarika Villagran attended Swiss Hotel Management School from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a BA Honors in Hospitality & Events Management.
