Heidi Peltola

Heidi Peltola has extensive work experience in research and development. From October 2019 to present, they have worked at Sulapac Ltd as the Head of Research and Development. Prior to that, from October 2019 to September 2022, they held the role of R&D Manager at the same company.

Before joining Sulapac Ltd, Peltola worked at VTT from June 2007 to September 2019. During their time at VTT, they held various positions including Senior Scientist from May 2018 to October 2019, Research Scientist from June 2008 to April 2018, and Research Student from June 2007 to May 2008.

Heidi Peltola has an extensive education history. Heidi completed their Doctor of Science (Technology) degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Tampere University from 2014 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Science (Technology) in Materials science from Tampere University of Technology between 2001 and 2008. Heidi also has a secondary school graduate degree from Lempäälän lukio, which they completed from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Heidi has obtained additional certifications including Pakkausalan peruskurssi no. 83 from Suomen Pakkausyhdistys ry - Finnish Packaging Association in 2020, Project Manager Training (2 days) from Talent Vectia / VTT in 2018, and an Occupational Safety Card from Työturvallisuuskeskus ry in September 2017.
