Monika is a senior accountant at Sullivan & Company. In this position, she provides variety of business and individual income tax services. She has experience in preparation of payroll and sales tax returns, preparation of corporate, partnership, individual, non-for-profit and fiduciary income tax returns, as well as gift tax returns. She has full general ledger responsibility for clients from various industries (construction, real estate, gas stations, information technology, insurance, etc.) and prepares financial statements (compilations and reviews) for the clients. She also assists clients with initial QuickBooks program setup and provides consultations.

Prior to joining Sullivan & Company in July 2003, she volunteered in the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, where she gained experience in individual income tax return preparation. Before starting the Masters degree program at Strayer University, she held internship position at the Financial Sector Help Desk of the World Bank in Washington DC.

Monika earned a Master of Science Degree in Finance from Matej Bel University in Slovakia in 2002 and graduated with honors from Strayer University with a Master of Science degree in Accounting in June 2003. She holds a Virginia CPA and is a member of the Maryland Society of Certified Public Accountants.
