Avinash Desai

Avinash Desai has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Avinash is currently the Vice President & Country HR Head at Sulzer, a Swiss industrial engineering and manufacturing firm specializing in pumping solutions and services. Avinash joined Sulzer in 2016 as the General Manager HR and was promoted to their current role in July 2017. Prior to Sulzer, Avinash worked at Voltas Limited, a Tata enterprise, for eight years, holding the position of Asst General Manager - Corporate HR. Before that, they were the Manager HR at FUJIFILM SERICOL, responsible for the overall HR function of the company. Avinash also has experience working at Franke and Videocon Industries, where they held HR roles and contributed to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Avinash Desai completed their education at the Maharashtra Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained a degree in Human Resources Management (MDBA). Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including PI Analyst, Competency mapping, Certified TBEM Assessor (Tata Business Excellence Model), Compensation & Benefits, ISO 9000 Lead Auditor, OHSAS 18001 Internal Auditor, and Behavioral Event Interviewing.
