Ruben Villalaz is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the industrial sector, currently serving as Managing Director & Vice President of Sales at Sulzer since July 2020. In this role, Ruben leads a team focused on innovative product development and sustainable solutions for customers. Prior to this, Ruben held various leadership positions at Flowserve Corporation, including Global Hubs Commercial Operations Director and Aftermarket Commercial Operations Director, driving multinational project strategies and aftermarket growth. With a background that also includes roles at Precision Castparts, Ruben possesses a solid foundation in engineering, having earned a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University, supplemented by business acumen and finance certifications from leading institutions.
