Alonso Velez

Alonso Velez has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2017. Alonso began as a Tech Lead and Software Engineer at Esvyda! Inc, where they developed new functionalities of the esvyda web platform. Alonso then moved on to Megared Colombia as a Full Stack - Software Developer in 2018. In 2019, they became a Frontend developer engineer at Rappi. In 2020, they co-founded Kompralab and held the role of Co-founder. Currently, they are a Senior Frontend Developer at Sumer and a Frontend Tech Lead at ITGlobers.

Alonso Velez has a diverse educational background. From 2010-2012 they attended the Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA) and obtained a Tecnologo degree in Tecnología informática/Tecnología de sistemas informáticos. From 2015-2016 they attended the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional and obtained an Experto en Diseño y Programación web con PHP degree in Programación informática, aplicaciones específicas. In 2017 they attended Crehana and obtained a Ux/Ui Designer degree in Desarrollo de páginas web, contenido digital/multimedia y recursos informáticos. Currently, they are attending Politécnico Grancolombiano and is expected to obtain a Grado en Ingeniería degree in Ingeniería de software in 2022.
