Jennie Merrigan

Jennie Merrigan is an accomplished educator and program director with extensive experience in supporting low-income, academically struggling learners. Since January 2017, Jennie has served as Program Director at Scholars Unlimited, focusing on providing rigorous literacy instruction and enrichment programs. Prior to this role, Jennie held the position of Director of Programs and Learning at Denver Public Schools from July 2014 to January 2017, and prior to that, served as Senior Supervisor at Summer Scholars from September 2006 to June 2014. Jennie's early career includes roles as Program Specialist and Site Coordinator, as well as a Teacher Trainer with the Peace Corps from October 2003 to December 2005. Jennie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado between 1999 and 2003.
