Preston Mar

Preston Mar is a seasoned software development engineer with extensive experience in both software engineering and technology instruction. Currently serving as an SDE 3 at Truveta since June 2021, Preston specializes in UX development using React and Mobx, while also leading the creation of DevOps infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Previous experience includes a role at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer in Test, where Preston significantly enhanced machine learning model accuracy and created data visualization tools. Additionally, Preston has held instructing roles at the Summit at Snoqualmie and Mohan Skiing and Boarding, teaching snowboarding to various age groups. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of Washington Bothell.
