Matthew Hill

Matthew Hill is a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Summit Consulting, LLC, since April 2023. Previously, Matthew served as a Data Scientist at General Assembly, where 500 hours of data science coursework were completed, involving six projects and over twenty assignments utilizing various Python packages. Matthew demonstrated proficiency in advanced analytics by employing supervised and unsupervised learning models to address real-world data challenges. Prior roles include Professional Athlete at FIBA, where a European Basketball Player of The Year title was attained, Data Analyst II at Ecolab, and Data Analyst at Airgas, where data monitoring, analysis, and reporting were key responsibilities. Matthew began their career as a Quality Assurance Intern at the Alabama Department of Public Health. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Data Science Immersive from General Assembly and a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine with a minor in Statistics from Faulkner University.
