Wendy Ferrell-Smith

Wendy Ferrell-Smith is an accomplished healthcare leader with extensive experience in value-based care and population health initiatives. Currently serving as Chief Value Based Care Officer and Vice President of Value Based Care at Summit Medical Group since December 2020, Wendy has successfully led teams to achieve shared savings in a multi-specialty provider group. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Value Based Performance at St. Elizabeth Physicians from August 2015 to November 2020, and as a Quality and Performance Improvement RN at The Christ Hospital, where Wendy enhanced patient care through collaborative process development. Beginning the nursing career as an RN at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Wendy holds a Master’s Degree in Health Care Informatics and has multiple nursing credentials from Northern Kentucky University and Marshall University.
