Shannan Carlson

Shannan Carlson is the current Operations Director at Summit Riser Systems. Shannan has been in this role since September of 2013. Prior to that, they were the Logistics Manager at National Network Services from September 1998 to September 2013. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the daily operations for an established telecommunications company. Her main responsibilities included overall project profitability, efficiency, productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction. Daily duties included scheduling, training, internal and external customer relations, purchasing, shipping & receiving, facilities management, fleet management, safety management, project documentation and certification, and mobile device management. Shannan evaluated and managed performance of direct reports providing coaching and development opportunities. Shannan also managed project budgets and controlled expenses to maximize efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Shannan was responsible for developing and implementing short-term and long-term operations goals with a strong focus on the effective and efficient operation of service and project delivery. Shannan would identify all service and production failures, customer concerns, and potential issues and develop / implement effective solutions. Shannan provided operational reports and analysis to senior management as required. Shannan also worked with manufacturers to maintain installation certifications and warranty status. Furthermore, they were responsible for managing scope escalations and change orders as well as handling any and all issues that come up during the daily course of business.

Shannan Carlson graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
