Carol Rieser

Carol recently retired from Cheyenne Regional Medical Center as the Administrator of Specialty Services. Her nursing career spanned from being at the bedside, to teaching undergraduate nursing students, to hospital administration. She graduated from Metropolitan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and from the University of Northern Colorado with a Master’s degree in Nursing, specializing in education, chronic illness, and transcultural nursing.

Her expertise includes managing multimillion-dollar budgets and in strategic planning. She also has experience and training LEAN methodology to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.

Carol currently serves as vice-chair on the board for K9s 4 Mobility, a non-profit organization that raises, trains, and matches dogs with people who are challenged with independence issues. She is also a member of Philo, a women’s non-profit philanthropic organization that raises money to assist with hunger insecurity, early childhood education, and needs within the Thompson Valley School district in Larimer County. She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, serving on church council from 2016-2019, and leading the long-range planning committee from 2019-present.
