Alibek Kulzhabayev

Alibek Kulzhabayev is a Senior Software Engineer at SumUp since August 2020, focusing on the development of a Risk Data and ML Platform to combat fraud while leading automation and cost-saving projects. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Zalando SE, specializing in microservices and frontend development, and serving as an IT-architect and Lead Java Developer at Samgau, where Alibek led the Smarttax project. At JSC "Kazpost," Alibek managed an e-services department, contributing to backend development and automated deployment processes. Previous roles also include Java EE development at EPAM Systems and a Research Assistant position at the University of Freiburg.
