Derick Wheeler

Derick Wheeler currently serves as Practice Manager at Sun Health, overseeing the day-to-day operations of a wellness center with a focus on financial efficiency, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction. Previous experience includes a role as Chief Operating Officer at Sonoran Life Solutions, Inc., where responsibilities involved managing multiple outpatient mental health offices and handling payroll and tax filings. Prior to that, Derick held the position of Support Services Manager at Arizona Training and Evaluations Center, Inc. (AZTEC), advocating for the rights of 30 mentally challenged individuals across eight group homes. Derick began the career as On-call Residential Services Staff, ensuring the well-being of five mentally challenged individuals and administering medications. Derick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Global Business Management and Leadership from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University between 2003 and 2011.
