Jason Rathbun

Jason Rathbun has extensive experience in the field of design and advertising within the newspaper industry. Currently, Jason serves as a Copy Editor and Page Designer for the Maine Trust for Local News since December 2018. Concurrently, Jason has been with Sun Journal - Sun Media Group since June 2009, holding positions as Graphic Imaging Coordinator and Page Designer, focusing on advertising packaging and news page design. Previous roles include serving as Production Manager at Current Publishing from 2005 to 2008, where Jason led a team to produce multiple weekly newspapers, and as a Page Designer at Sun Journal from 1997 to 2005. Additionally, Jason volunteered at the Maine Building Materials Exchange from 2009 to 2011, assisting with marketing and operations. Jason holds a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Maine and a Certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Maine at Augusta.
