Sridhar Shankar

Sridhar Shankar has over 25 years of diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Sridhar is currently serving as the Senior Vice President Global Specialty Business at SUN PHARMA since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Pfizer for more than 20 years, where they held several leadership positions. These roles include Vice President, Global Rare Endocrine and Metabolic Franchise Head, Vice President Global Marketing Rare Disease (Hemophilia and Endocrine Franchise), Vice President, Global Commercial Lead Internal Medicine Core Brands, Sr Director/ Team Lead, Regional Commercial Lead - Cardiovascular / Diversified Brands Latin America, Director Cardiovascular Therapeutic Area Lead, Director Inflammation / Critical Care and Global Portfolio Strategy, Director, Portfolio Acquisition, Emerging Markets, Director, Strategic Planning - Portfolio Management, Associate Director - Portfolio Management, and Category Manager. Before joining Pfizer, Sridhar worked as a Consultant at Analysis Group (Integral Inc.) and as an Associate at Mitchell Madison Group. Sridhar started their career as a Senior Consultant at KPMG LLP.

Sridhar Shankar obtained an MBA in Finance and Strategy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business between 1997 and 1999. Prior to that, they earned a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from 1987 to 1991.
