Evan Merkel

Evan Merkel, PE, currently serves as a Senior Project Engineer at Sun Tribe since February 2024, following a long tenure as a Senior Project Engineer at ANTARES Group Incorporated from August 2011 to February 2024. Prior to these roles, Merkel worked as a Solar Design Engineer at Greenspring Energy, LLC, from November 2009 to August 2011. In addition to engineering, Merkel has an extensive background in music, performing as a musician with Selected Recordings from 2010 to 2016, contributing various instruments to several projects, and also as part of Selected Performances during the same period. Merkel earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland between 2003 and 2007.
