Wayne Roper

Wayne Roper, Jr. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the nuclear industry and the sports sector. Currently serving as a Marshall and tournament Starter at SunBelt Golf since April 2022, Roper previously held various roles at Southern Nuclear Operating Co from 1978 to 2023, culminating in the position of Employee Concerns Coordinator. Roper's background includes significant expertise in health physics, radioactive waste management, and training as an RP Instructor. Educationally, Roper obtained an Associate of Science degree from Wallace Community College and attended the University of Mobile for studies in Science and Music Education.
