Katie Anderson

Katie Anderson has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on education and compliance. Katie started their career as a Clinical Liaison at Suncrest Hospice in March 2020 and transitioned to the role of Clinical Education and Compliance Manager in July 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Education and Compliance- CHICAGO at Suncrest Hospice, starting in May 2023. Prior to their role at Suncrest Hospice, Katie worked as a Critical Care Registered Nurse at Northwest Community Healthcare from February 2017 to March 2020. Katie also gained experience as an Admissions RN at JourneyCare from March 2019 to October 2019. During their earlier career, Katie served as a Boatswains Mate Third Class in the U.S. Coast Guard from September 2008 to September 2014.

Katie Anderson began their education at Harper College in 2013, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse in 2016. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Capella University, completing their studies from 2018 to 2020. During their time at Capella University, Katie achieved the President's List in Winter 2020. Currently, they are enrolled in Walden University, working towards a Master's degree in MSN- Nurse Executive, with an expected completion date in 2023.
