Giulio Casello

Mr Casello has more than 30 years experience as a senior executive in operations, business development and corporate strategy, including national and global exposure in manufacturing environments for several blue chip organisations. Mr Casello was appointed as Managing Director/CEO of Sundance in October 2010, however due to the Company's current primary focus on legal proceedings in the International Chamber of Commerce in London and

Paris, Mr Casello has stepped away from the full-time role of CEO and has taken on a Non-Executive role with Sundance.

Prior to joining Sundance in 2020, Mr Casello held the position of Chief Operating Officer for iron ore miner Sinosteel Midwest Corporation, where he led its development from an exploration company to a producer.

He previously worked at Century Aluminium Company in the United States, where as Senior Vice President, Business Development he was responsible for developing and implementing a growth plan in aluminium, alumina and critical raw materials (carbon, bauxite, energy) and managing new projects across the globe. He has also held a number of significant positions in Alcoa spanning across 20 years, including Director of WA Operations, General Manager Alcoa World Chemicals and Kwinana Alumina Refinery Location Manager.
