Lavanya Sallagundla

Lavanya Sallagundla is currently the VP of Digital Assurance at Sunera Technologies. Lavanya has over fifteen years of experience in Quality Assurance and has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, such as United Airlines.

Lavanya started their career at United Airlines in October 2006 as a Lead QA analyst. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating testing efforts for complex e-commerce and mobile projects, including enhancements, maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades. Lavanya also defined the test strategy to optimize resource utilization, increase test coverage, and reduce time to market. Some of their key accomplishments during their time at United include establishing testing services for United's mobile app and storefront applications, reducing the training budget by 70% during a transition to a new vendor, and increasing automation test coverage by 40%.

In their current role as VP of Digital Assurance at Sunera Technologies, Lavanya is responsible for leading a team of QA professionals who provide assurance for Sunera's digital products and services. Lavanya is also responsible for developing and executing the digital assurance strategy, overseeing quality control activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Lavanya Sallagundla has a M.S in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Sree Vidyanikethan. Lavanya is currently enrolled in an Artificial Intelligence course at Kellogg Executive Education.
