Mauricio Torres

Mauricio Torres has a diverse background in regulatory affairs, quality management, and engineering within the medical device industry. Mauricio started their career at Avail Medical Products as a Quality Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer before moving on to FlexMedical Disposables as a Quality Manager. Mauricio then joined Access Scientific, where they served as a Quality/Process Engineer and later as an RA/QA Manager. Currently, Mauricio is the Director of Regulatory & Quality Affairs at Suneva Medical, where they manage the Quality and Regulatory departments, along with supporting regulatory submissions and international submissions. Throughout their career, Mauricio has demonstrated expertise in quality system development, regulatory strategy, process validation, and audits compliance.

Mauricio Torres obtained a High School Diploma from Preparatoria Federal Lazaro Cardenas in 1999. Mauricio then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Design and Manufacturing at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California from 1999 to 2003. In 2005, Mauricio completed their MBA in High Management at CETYS Universidad. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as MDSAP Certification Course from NSF International in 2020 and a Quality Engineer certification from ASQ in 2004.
