Alina Gendel

Alina Gendel has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Alina is currently employed at SunFire as a Senior Software Engineer since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Sage Bionetworks as a Principal Software Engineer starting from July 2019. Alina also has experience working at Cisco as an Engineer IV from April 2017 to July 2019, and as a Senior UI Engineer at Cisco (contract) from May 2016 to July 2019.

Before joining Cisco, they worked at Health: ELT as a Senior Software Developer from February 2014 to April 2016. Alina also has experience as a Senior Front End Developer at Razorfish from February 2013 to February 2014. Prior to that, they were the Interactive Programmer & President at Sliced Bread Media from April 2008 to January 2014.

Earlier in their career, Alina worked at Fossil as a Senior UI Developer from May 2012 to December 2012. Alina also worked as an Interactive Programmer at Tribal DDB from July 2006 to April 2008 and as a Senior Technical Analyst at HCSC from December 2005 to July 2006.

Alina Gendel attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science. Following this, they pursued further education at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine-Chicago.
