John Stacy

John Stacy has extensive work experience in the banking and finance industry. John currently serves as the Regional Market President at Sunflower Bank, N.A. since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Regions Bank as the Houston Market President from 2020 to 2023 and as the Managing Director- Head of Houston Diversified Corporate Banking from 2018 to 2020. Before joining Regions Bank, they held multiple positions at BBVA Compass from 2011 to 2018, including Managing Director - Team Lead of Corporate and Investment Banking and Senior Vice President. John also has experience outside of banking, having worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Crosswell Realty Partners from 2009 to 2011 and as the Vice President of Financial & Investment Services at Manhattan Meyerson Berry from 2006 to 2009. Their career started at UBS in 1989 as an Assistant Treasurer. Prior to that, they worked at BNP Paribas as a Managing Director from 1992 to 2006. Throughout their career, John Stacy has gained expertise in various aspects of banking, including business development, client relationship management, investment services, and credit risk analysis.

John Stacy attended the University of North Texas from 1982 to 1986, where they studied General Business with a focus on Management & Finance. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications including the Series 7 - General Securities Representative from FINRA in September 2004, the Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent in August 2018, and the Series 79 - Investment Banking in November 2018.
