Richard Pickett

Software Support Engineer at Sunhillo Corporation

Richard Pickett has a diverse work history starting from being a programmer at Verizon in 1998 to their most recent role as a software support engineer at Sunhillo Corporation. Richard took a break in between to be a stay-at-home parent to take care of their special needs daughter and continued to advance their skills through online and in-person instruction. Additionally, they were a software QA engineer and second-level support for 10 years at Advanced Sciences and Technologies where they conducted tests and scenarios for improvements made to STARS hardware and software. Richard was also a programmer/analyst at NCO Group and a software engineer/officer at Bank of America. At these positions, Richard designed, tested, and maintained software programs, including several new business programs for use by clients.

Richard Pickett earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Science from Temple University, which they attended from 1995 to 1998. In addition, they obtained the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from Scrum Alliance in May 2019.
