Toby Li

Toby Li has extensive experience in the energy industry, particularly in sales and management roles. Toby'smost recent position was as the VP of Sales at Sunnova Energy, where they led the direct sales organization and focused on growth and expansion. Prior to that, Toby worked at Sunrun for several years, starting as a Senior Residential Solar Consultant and progressing to roles such as Regional Sales Manager and Senior Director of Sales. During their tenure at Sunrun, Toby achieved impressive results, including significant sales growth in various markets. Toby also has experience in academia, having worked as a graduate student at Columbia University and as a research assistant at Vanderbilt University. Additionally, they have a background in market research and program coordination from their time at Tsinghua University and has worked as a business coordinator and interpreter at China Railway Construction Corp. Ltd.

Toby Li holds a Masters Degree in Sustainability Management (MS) from Columbia University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree with a double major in Biomedical Engineering and Economics at Vanderbilt University.
