Education Lead - Department Of Surgery at Sunnybrook

Ashley Rosen, MBA, M.Ed. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Residence Life Coordinator at the University of Victoria until 2013. In 2012, they joined Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre as an Education Lead for the Department of Surgery. Simultaneously, they also worked for EverAdaptive from 2012 to 2021 as a Training and Development Consultant. In 2013, they took on the role of a Simulation Specialist at St. Michael's Hospital until 2019. Additionally, they worked as an Interprofessional Practice and Education Coordinator at Markham Stouffville Hospital from 2018 to 2019. Most recently, they joined Deloitte as a Consultant in 2021 and later transitioned to the role of Senior Consultant in 2022.

Ashley Rosen, MBA, M.Ed. obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Queen's University Belfast in 2020. In the same year, they also earned a Certificate in Digital Transformation from MIT Professional Education. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Adult Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto. Their undergraduate studies were completed from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Culture and Information Technology from the University of Toronto.

In addition to their formal education, Ashley has also acquired additional certifications. In 2017, they obtained a Certificate in Performance Coaching from the Centre for Coaching, UK. In 2013, they completed the Second City Toronto Improv Program at Second City Toronto.
