Sascha Drewlo

Sascha Drewlo has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedicine and academia. Sascha is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Akna Health Inc since October 2020. Additionally, they hold the position of Professor at the University of Toronto and Senior Principal Scientist at Sunnybrook, both starting in August 2022. Previously, they worked as an Associate Professor at Michigan State University from May 2017 to August 2022. Sascha also founded and served as the Vice President of Development at Cradle Genomics from August 2018 to December 2019. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director at Advanced Reproductive Testing A.R.T from July 2016 to August 2018. Sascha served as an Assistant Professor and later as an Associate Professor at Wayne State University and Wayne State University School of Medicine, respectively, from January 2013 to May 2017. Before that, they worked as a Post Doctoral Scientist at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto from January 2007 to December 2012. Sascha'scareer started at University Hospital Aachen as a Dipl. Biol. from August 2003 to January 2007.

Sascha Drewlo obtained a PhD in Molecular Cell Biology from Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln from 2004 to 2007.
