Gwcpm Scott A Sommers

Scott A Sommers, GWCPM, has extensive experience in project management and engineering, specializing in tank integrity and reliability. Since August 2011, Scott has worked at Sunoco Logistics as a Project Manager and Tank Integrity & Reliability Engineer, overseeing API 653 inspections for the Eastern Area. Prior to this role, Scott managed tank inspections and repairs for SXL Pipelines and Terminal & Marketing tanks across several states. Scott's earlier experience includes a tenure at BP Pipelines & Logistics as a Project Manager for the Tank Inspection Program and managing special projects within the TIP Group. Scott began their career at Chicap Pipeline Company, where responsibilities included project management and construction supervision. Scott holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business and a BSE in Architectural Engineering from Purdue University.
