Glade Nielson

Glade Nielson has extensive experience in leadership roles related to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Glade founded Lean Horizons, LLC in 2004 and served as the COO, leading transformation processes and implementing Lean methodologies. At Productivity Inc., they worked as a consultant on Lean and TPM implementation with Global 1000 companies. Their role at US Synthetic involved guiding the company towards receiving the Shingo Prize for Excellence through Lean implementation and continuous improvement. Glade also worked on continuous improvement and production at Morton Automotive Safety Products. Currently, they serve as the Quality and Safety Director at Sunrise Engineering, Inc.

Glade Nielson attended Tooele High School and then went on to earn an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Engineering from Snow College from 1979 to 1981. Glade later pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Production/Operations Management with a minor in Japanese at Utah State University from 1981 to 1984.
