Thomas Jansen had the vision in 2017 to bring together the services of an established payroll service bureau with that of what became the first and only native Salesforce platform human capital management and payroll processing application. Thomas saw that many Human Capital Management (HCM) technical solutions and the functional processes that support them, are disparate, disjointed, and systematically disconnected. There are numerous companies providing proprietary non-integrated solutions that do not meet the complete needs of a company. As cloud-based solutions, such as Salesforce, drive to an integrated and secure environment, the current providers of HCM products such as Workday, Zenefits, ADP, Paychex, and Paylocity, continue to promote costly non-natively integrated solutions. These competitors in the HCM vertical have size but only within their proprietary platforms. This limits scalability since their services are not natively integrated with other business critical applications (e.g. sales, marketing, service delivery) without complex, time consuming, costly, and kludgy integrations.
