Mike Gradwell

Mike Gradwell is an experienced professional in the refining and manufacturing sectors, currently serving as Mint Director at Asahi Refining since October 2021, where responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies for gold and silver mint operations in Miami, Florida. Prior to this role, Mike held the position of Executive: Manufacturing Support & Development at South African Mint, focusing on aligning technical vision with business objectives. Additional experience includes serving as R&D Director at SAFRIPOL, Operations Manager at Huhtamaki, and Principal Scientist at Sasol Polymers, where contributions were made to product optimization and technical leadership. Mike holds an MBA in Marketing from GIBS Business School and a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Port Elizabeth.
