Chris Ostapovicz

Chris Ostapovicz is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Ostapovicz joined Sunstone as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in March 2021. Prior to joining Sunstone, he held various operating and finance positions at both The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and Marriott International. Mr. Ostapovicz is an active member of the Hospitality Asset Management Association (HAMA) where he previously served as a board director and treasurer for five years and is one of three faculty to start Georgetown University’s master’s in global hospitality in 2014. Mr. Ostapovicz earned a B.A. degree in Accounting from University of Maryland, an M.B.A. degree from Georgetown University and an M.S. degree in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University.
