Renuka Surujnarain currently serves as a Part-Time Clinical Research Coordinator at Sunstone Therapies, managing key components of clinical trials since April 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Clinical Study Assistant for the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, where responsibilities involved supporting study sites with documentation and maintaining electronic trial master files from November 2021 to April 2023. Additionally, Renuka worked as a Research Program Coordinator at Johns Hopkins Medicine, collaborating on brain imaging and pharmacokinetic studies related to tobacco and cannabis from February 2021 to April 2023. Previous positions also feature neuropsychology and biological anthropology research roles at Queens College, an Aspen New Solutions Fellowship focused on contact tracing during the COVID-19 pandemic, community engagement at The Jane Goodall Institute, and digital communications at the Institute of International Education. Renuka holds a B.A. in Neuroscience-Biology with a minor in Anthropology from Queens College and has completed a study abroad program at the University of Cape Town.
