Carla Gourley

Carla Gourley has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Carla is currently working at Suntex Marinas as the Director of Talent, Training + Culture, a role they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, from October 2021 to April 2023, Carla worked as the Manager, People & Culture at Suntex Marinas.

Carla also has experience as the Founder of Brighthouse Consultants, a role they took on in May 2019. Before that, they served as the Director of People & Culture at BT Furnishings from July 2020 to October 2021.

Before entering the corporate world, Carla gained experience as a Cocktail Server in the Stadium Club at Dallas Cowboys, a position they held from 1994 to 2002.

Carla Gourley earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of North Texas, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Stephen F. Austin State University from 1992 to 1994, although their degree and field of study during that time are unknown. Carla has also obtained additional certifications, including Talent Optimizer from The Predictive Index and Level 1 - Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas in 2015.
